Authors Life: Charles Henderson born in Artesia, New Mexico is known for his books focused around well known wars and conflicts. One of his best works is, Marine Sniper: 93 Confirmed Kills, about the legendary Marine sniper, Carlos Hathcock. Henderson, who was also served in the Marine Corps. He retired in 1993 after 23 years serving in the Marine Corps. Henderson fought in the Vietnam War and Lebanon. Henderson was trained to fight in cold weather and was a marksman. Henderson was also trained to be in "Counter-Terrorist" situations. In 1976 he received a private pilots license.
